We need your help! Please reach out to your favorite kayak, raft, Canoe, sup and packraft companies and tell them you want to try their boat at Clack Fest this year!

One of the best parts of Clack Fest is getting to try out new boats. Here’s your chance to test out the latest and greatest rafts, cat boats, packrafts, inflatable kayaks, canoes or SUPs from all the leading manufacturers.

RIVTEK

RIVTEK was founded by Ben Tester, whose lifelong passion for Idaho whitewater pushed him to challenge everything about traditional raft design. Tired of unstable, uncomfortable boats holding paddlers back, he spent years engineering and testing a raft that could charge harder, track cleaner, and keep people more secure in big whitewater. By 2024, that vision became reality—RIVTEK now builds rafts engineered for stability, comfort, and dominant whitewater performance, making the river more accessible and a whole lot more thrilling.

Clackamas River Outfitters

Clackamas River Outfitters is dedicated to getting people on the water with the right gear, local knowledge, and a focus on safety and fun. The shop specializes in paddle sports gear, rentals, tours, and instruction on the Clackamas River in approachable paddling experiences, helping beginners to experts explore the Clackamas River with confidence. Every visit is centered on friendly service, quality equipment, and memorable time outdoors. CRO also specializes in disc golf and carries a wide variety of discs. All demo participants must obtain a wrist ban
Wrist bans are obtained by signing a liability form and paying the $10 ACA insurance fee at the registration booth.

Paddlers should have previous whitewater experience and their skills should be appropriate for the section of river they are demoing gear on. If an individual is unsure what section of river is appropriate for them they should double check with the vendor they are demoing gear from.*
Weather in May can be unpredictable. Temperatures range from cold and wet. To sunny and dry.
Appropriate personal gear is mandatory for demos. Drysuit/wetsuit, helmet, and life jacket are mandatory to demo boats. We recommend neoprene boots and neoprene gloves/pogies if you plan to be on the water.
Shuttles will be running from the event site at Carter Bridge between Hole In the Wall Put In and Big Eddy take out.

*If you aren’t a whitewater paddler, some vendors will have the option to try out a packraft, kayak or SUP on North Fork Reservoir but you will need to transport the boat from the event 10 miles down stream and then back up to the event.
