Clack Fest Camping

2025 Camping Update

Due to the ongoing fire recovery efforts on the Upper Clackamas River after the 2020 Riverside fire, many campgrounds are still closed to the public. We are working closely with the Forest Service to provide the best camping possible. We have teamed up with AntFarm Youth Services, a non profit based out of Sandy Oregon, to help prepare fire-damaged campgrounds near the event site that are not currently open to the public. This year, we will be offering camping at Promontory, Lockaby, and Carter Campgrounds. We are working with the new Forest Service concessionaire, Alaskan Recreation, (managing Armstrong Campground) to secure it as well and we will provide updates as they become available.

Milo McIver State Park  McIver Park is located approximately five miles south west of Estacada along the lower Clackamas River. McIver is about 2o minutes from Carter Bridge event site. This is a great option if you are planning on heading to Estacada after the event for food and drinks (or morning coffee). It’s a huge state park with plenty of camping so you will be sure to get a spot. https://oregonstateparks.reserveamerica.com/camping/milo-mciver-state-park/r/campgroundDetails.do?contractCode=OR&parkId=402284 Milo McIver State Park, Estacada, OR 97023 Metzler Park  Metzler Park is located approximately five miles south of Estacada along beautiful Clear Creek. Although it is a short drive from several communities in Clackamas County, this park feels wonderfully isolated, surrounded by hills covered with towering Douglas-fir and western red cedar trees.
